One fun fact I learned in Miami is that people are very well acquainted with their car horns! That’s one of the reasons why it’s nice to come home to a town where the majority of the noise is coming from the occasional passing train. Although I would gladly slip away to hustle and bustle again to re-visit these places.
We stayed in Coral Gables which is slightly more relaxed than the city of Miami itself.
Taking time for a quick splash!
Oh and let’s not forget the food!
The Vizcaya Museum and Gardens was something out of a dream.
The 60 acres of gardens were so well-kept, even in the sweltering Florida heat.
But the inside was something of a Spanish inspired Downton Abbey.
A surprise belated birthday dinner was nothing short of amazing.
Although the Versace family no longer owns the mansion, the integrity of Gianni’s genius was still intact.
The detail the pool added to the opulence that Versace embodied through his brand.
To finish the trip, we felt it was only appropriate to catch a Marlins game!
I also was able to catch this beautiful skyline at Marlins Park!
Hey Bryce. *swoon*
It was such a great trip, and there was still so much to do in Miami! That just means I’ll have to find an excuse to make another drive down south! If you haven’t been, I highly suggest making a check box on your bucket list!
