This year has just flown by! It was such a difficult task to condense all my favorite moments/picks of 2018 by looking back at old pictures and rehashing memories for this post. I think I have the skinny though. This has been a great year to kick off my 20’s and it’s been a pleasure to be able to share the memories with you all! I think it’s fitting that my curling iron literally exploded yesterday because that definitely ended the year with a bang! Let’s get trucking and roll the highlights!:
First, The Cut
This is actually a very new change I made to the ‘do but it has changed the game. I chopped off five inches off my hair. It is so much healthier. It was dragging me down and it just was never a look anymore, so she had to go! I’ve been wanting to do it for about a year and a half and would just chicken out every time I walked into the salon, and now I regret not doing it sooner!
I have met so many awesome people this year! Whether it was from the blogging community itself, my college ministry, or my church, this has been such a special season of fellowship and growing with one another. Thankful isn’t a strong enough word to describe the relationships I’ve been blessed to be a part of this year. The fun never stops with these people and 2019 is going to be even better! I’m stoked that next semester my best friend and I get to take a class together, we haven’t done that since middle school!
The Perfect Work Shoes
Y’all. These are perfection. They go with everything. They’re comfy. They’re easy to slip on. These have been my go-to shoes to wear to work, I wear them at least once a week. Now the OG ones I got during the anniversary sale are sold out, but here are some decently priced dupes that are equally cute!
Now…we’re not going to talk about how my main squeeze Joe Kelly has left us. RIP. My team though won the World Series!!! If you know me at all, this is a big deal. As you can see from the throwback photo…it’s a smidge of a lifestyle, and I am not ashamed! The Sox are the only team I care about, because they are the most important team. Ever. Plus, they’re the best and I may or may not have squealed when they won in game 5.
One of the best parts of 2018 was being able to go on a family vacation together! It had been so long since we had been able to get away as a family and Miami was so beautiful! You can see my recap of that trip here! One of my favorite dresses of the summer is on super sale for $30 right now and available in all sizes!
Those are just a few of the wonderful memories made in 2018, and I’m sure 2019 can only bring more! What was your favorite part of 2018? Leave a comment below! I hope you and your family have a healthy and happy New Year!
