Incoming lots of pics!
I have been dying to go on a girls’ trip with my ladies for the longest and was so excited when my friend Hana coordinated one for Spring Break months back! One of the best parts was being able to hang out with old friends and cultivate some new relationships with new ones over a nice little cabin getaway.
After a long drive across time zones, when I first saw the where our cabin was located, I was a little concerned we might have been catfished when my GPS (coined “Jane” by my fam) said “arrived”. Little did I know, we had to go off the grid to get to our location, and all of my expectations were blown out of the water. Don & Jen were great hosts and if you’re ever looking for a place to stay in the area, their cabin had beautiful views and great accommodations for an affordable price.
This week was full of laughs and new experiences for us all. To be honest, we went low and we went high and that definitely was out of my comfort zone. Day one was our cave diving adventure and all I could think about was the poor boys in Thailand that got stuck and nearly died. Thankfully, that was not the case for us and it was full of fun and helped give some important knowledge for the rest of the week.
Our tour guide Michael was the best!
Then we went off on our own hiking adventure in our cabin backyard.
The rest of the week had many different trails throughout Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee to explore. The path had been traveled by more on those, but honestly, my knees thanked me a little extra for that. Highly reccomend those hikes to save you a load of laundary.
My favorite piece of trail graffiti.
My favorite day was our day trip to Nashville!
Then we finished our trip with wandering different cities and relaxing before the big drive home!
A much needed break with memories (and pictures!) to last a lifetime. The rest of the girls and I will be back to our regularly scheduled programs starting Monday. For those that already had their spring break I hope it was relaxing and fun! For those heading out in the upcoming weeks, have a good one and be safe!
